Bistro Calais
is an antique cottage and entering you’ll immediately feel you have
traveled back in time to a romantic French country setting with its
dramatic warm and sophisticated decor. The entire bistro is full of
charm and character that would astonish a time-traveler from
seventeenth-century France. Bistro Calais is located in the River
Oaks with direct access to The Gardens of Bammel Lane with the
entire back part of the restaurant overlooking the courtyard.
The Gardens
of Bammel Lane is a picture perfect reception and
ceremony site. This unique district features a small cluster of
quaint boutiques housed in restored cottages. The focal point in the
middle of the lushly landscaped grounds is a large English
Conservatory, which can be rented for parties, weddings and
receptions. The entire area is accented with Victorian lamps and a
series of wrought iron gates.
